I need to vent

I don't think we have heard or ever will hear the truth about that missile off the coast of California.

I believe people in the Department of Defense and the State Department are actively involved in the information going to Wikileaks. The administration's condemnations are just a cover. I believe Wikileaks is an arm of the George Soros effort to ruin this country, in concert with the Obama administration.

If one PFC has the ability to do all this, those in charge should be in jail with him. So, is this going to be the spin? Are we supposed to accept this and go on about our lives, believing the leaders have dealt with it? I don't think so.

Now the very people that supported Obama and his Healthcare bill are dropping insurance on their employee's children because their health insurance costs have risen so high. Federal employees who supported him are having their wages frozen. Those who thought he was going to close Gitmo and end the wars see that none of that is going to happen.

So, I believe Obama knows he can not get reelected, and he is going to do all he can to turn things upside down in his last two years. But, maybe I am just imagining all of this.Maybe I am becoming a crazy conspiracy believer. But it seems so real in my deluded mind. I just wonder if our system has been too damaged to recover.

Thanksgiving

Things I am thankful for this thanksgiving: I was born in America. I attended public school in a time before it turned into a social brain washing institution. I had two parents, who taught me I had to work for what i wanted, and education is important. A Dad who showed me the joy of learning for learning's sake, and pride of citizenship. A Mom who taught me to be polite to others, and respectful of their property.

We just need to send U.S. Military with all guns blazing into Yemen. Kill 'em all. Shock and awe, no restrictions. Timid political decisions by U.S. in Iraq and Afghanistan are reason for this. This is war not debate club.

Stop blaming the teachers

Teachers today are essentially the same as when I went to school many years ago. They are not the problem. The problem is several decades of the federal government subsidizing people in a way that encouraged one parent families. Then we have expected the schools and teachers to do what mothers and fathers used to do, raise children. The schools should be doing what they were created for, educating.

Maxine Waters looking out for the irresponsible

Maxine Waters wants to force banks to give breaks to irresponsible people who financed homes they could not afford. How does that make you, a responsible person feel? Is anyone going to cut the balance on your principal, or renegotiate your loan for you? Glenn Beck is at his best when he is focusing on the circle of radical hate filled socialist/communist progressives which our not so beloved El Presidente surrounds himself. what created the interest in Beck. There is one Beck vs untold numbers

them actually have listened to him, probably for fear that they might
end up agreeing with him.

Why don't we have better government?

We already have term limits, it is called voting. I'd rather have the option of keeping the good guys and getting rid of the bad. With term limits even the good ones would be forced out. The problem is, people don't pay attention, and not enough vote. We could have many parties, then we would have parliamentary government, consumed with building coalitions like Europe, no thanks, or one party like China, no thanks again. What we have is lousy, but it is still the best anyone has ever come up with. Every politician will tell you he is doing what is in the best interest of the country, so when you say you want politicians that will work in the best interest of the country, what you are really saying is, you want politicians that agree with you. It is called politics for a reason, and the conflict is what we all hate, but there is no way to get around it where humans are involved.

My father came here from Norway. But do not call me Scandinavian-American. I am a lucky American, born here, a citizen of the United States, even though one of my parents was not born here. So, when we say to someone, who had both parents born here, you are not American, you are African-American, isn't that implying that we think they are not as fully American as we are? I think when we hyphenate, we are dividing ourselves. After all, we all came from somewhere else.

Liberals jump to wrong conclusion

I do not understand why liberals assume that rejection of Obama is a call to return to the Bush policies. The reason the Tea Party is so popular with conservatives is because it rejects Obama's socialist agenda, but also rejects the big spend policies and liberal border policies of Bush. Obama's change has turned out to NOT be what most of the country wants.

People don't take care of each other today

People don't take care of each other today because we have spent decades convincing them that is government's job

My First Tea Party Event

This week I received a notice of a Tea Party event being held on Friday night, here in Wake Forest, NC. The location was to be only a block from my home at an old historic home now hired out for events. How could I not go? I walked down Friday evening for a chance to see what a Tea Party crowd was actually like, and to meet the congressional candidate, Bill Randall.

I must say I was impressed by the crowd and the candidate. Average age was probably about my age, early 60's. It seemed to me that there were as many younger than me, as there were older. I would estimate the racial mix at about 90% white and 10% black. The crowd was very friendly and very well behaved. I saw no sign nor heard anything said that would have been offensive to anyone. The meeting began with saying the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag, followed by singing the national anthem, and then a prayer. This set the tone of the meeting.

Curtis Wright, radio show host from Wilmington was the M.C. of the evening and did a great job. But the highlight of the evening was hearing from the candidate, Bill Randall. What a fine, conservative, sincere man! We also met his wife, and I must say the two of them set an example of love and family caring.

I left the meeting feeling much more positive about the possibility of conservatism leading this country.

NAACP prefers buses over education

In Wake County North Carolina, the elected school board is being attacked with legal action by the NAACP. Apparently, the NAACP would rather see education money spent on a bus fleet and lawyers rather than educating their underachieving children.

The NAACP uses school children similar to the way Arabs use the Palestinians, to achieve a social/political agenda, with no sincere concern for the future of the people they claim to help.

The Blame Game

I am sick and tired of both parties blaming each other for deficit, debt and higher taxes. Both are to blame. We are suffering from decades of accumulated poor governance and oversight by Democrats and Republicans. They both promise to fix it at election time, then it is business as usual when elections are over. It is this that is driving the TEA Party movement.

Van Jones Address Netroots Nation 2010

This speech by Van Jones confirms he is still the communist he has always been.

He speaks of people losing their "dream homes". Many people mortgaged homes they dreamed about, rather than homes they could afford. He wants us to feel guilty when they lose them.

This speech focuses on redistribution of wealth, which he calls hope and change.

In Van Jones world of change only the left speaks "truth, and is beautiful". Any opposition is "lies, dishonest, and hate".

His "hope" is not everyone's hope, but only his hope is good. He speaks of putting people back to work, back together. But he wants to do it through wealth redistribution.

He says we have plenty of money and asks, "How are we going to spend it"? The truth is, the government is broke, and running on borrowed money. So, who's "plenty of money" does he want to spend?

He sees "little has been gained from our energy". Yet, energy built America. He believes we can run the country on solar and wind. He never mentions nuclear energy.

He believes cars are created by union assembly line workers. He believes they are the "smart" ones that create products.

He talks about a clean energy "tomorrow" as if we have something ready to replace oil and gas, and could shut them off "tomorrow". Again, no mention of nuclear.

He wants to convert farm land into energy land. No mention of nuclear, no mention of what this would do to the price of food.

When he talks about "bring us together" he means so I can hand my money to someone else. In his world "bring us together" means, take from me, give to you.

He says we must fist fight for the country he wants. He sees opposition to illegal immigration as anti immigrant. He refers to them as "new comers", ignoring the breaking of our laws. He sees unrestrained increase of diversity as the path to his change.

He complains about BP, and who doesn't? But he ignores that it was very much the failure of government regulators and overseers that allowed that disaster to occur. The recent wreck of our economy was very much rooted in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the government backed buyers of 90% of America's mortgages that encouraged unrealistic mortgages on "dream homes."

Yet, Van Jones sees big government as the solution to everyone's problems.

Van Jones and the rest of his kind that Obama has always been surrounded by, are committed to change. What we have to ask is, do we actually want the changes they advocate?

The arrest of Joran van der Sloot in Chile for apparently murdering another young woman.

The lunatic left in the USA supporting illegal entry into the country.

And on and on....

Europe bailing out countries

While we are still wrestling with the bail out of banks and auto makers, the Europeans appear to be coming up with a plan to bail whole countries, such as Greece and Portugal. I believe that eventually, this probably of sovereign debt will catch up to the larger countries. China is already saber rattling with dollar bills instead of steel, threatening to flood the market with our bonds. What I intend to do here at the NWO HQ

There is so much going on in the world today that truly disturbs me. I find that respect for law and order and common courtesy are becoming scarce. I am very concerned at what I see as a deterioration of society in general. I have created this NWO HQ as a place for me to share and write about the signs I see of this collapse of free and respectful society.

I will be posting links, pictures and comments. feel free to post your own comments. I realize that many relish the deterioration of society and choose to vote (assuming you do vote) for those who seem to want to take us down this path.

My name is Rik Rasmussen. I am a 61 year old citizen of the United States, acknowledging that I am highly biased in a conservative direction. However, I am thoroughly disgusted with both of our primary political parties.

I am not sure how a democracy can function well when neither party has leadership that is in the best interest of the country. I do not see my grandchildren having the same optimism about the future that was held by my generation. The politicians are not only ruining our opportunities, they are reaching far into the future and taking opportunity from generations to come.
